  • The Tourist Information Center – located in the main square at Velké náměstí 1, opened daily
  • Sand sculptures on the theme FREEDOM – two remaining sculptures available on the right bank of the Otava near Sladovna building; the sculpture are part of "Enjoy Art" tour in the centre of Písek – see flyer "Enjoy Art in Písek 2025" in our Downloads.   • Viewing tower of the church with new exhibition, visits on weekends 
  • the Prácheň Museum is closed in January 2026
  • the Adolf Heyduk Memorial is closed in 2026 for renovation
  • Exhibitions: Sladovna Gallery (gallery is opened, new exhibition from Jan 27), DRAGOUN Gallery, Municipal library, Portyč Gallery
  • From autumn 2025, the bus station in Písek is closed due to reconstruction. Stops for local routes are relocated to Baarova Street, long-distance buses depart from the stop “U autobusového nádraží”
