Zvíkov Castle

Zvíkov Castle, often referred to as the "King of Czech Castles", stands proudly at the strategic confluence of the Otava and Vltava rivers and is one of South Bohemia’s most significant historical landmarks. Founded in the 13th century by Přemysl Otakar I, the castle features extensive grounds that are mostly open to the public free of charge, with the exception of the palace area, which requires an entrance fee.
